Has anyone managed to mount eXist in read-write mode using the Mac OS X WebDAV "client"? >From the Finder, I have been using Go / Connect to Server. It works well, but eXist gets mounted in read-only mode. I assume that this is just an interface to mount_webdav. In the mount_webdav man page, I read: -o Options passed to mount(2) are specified with the -o option fol- lowed by a comma-separated string of options. See the mount(8) man page for possible options and their meanings. If connecting to a Class 1 compliant WebDAV server, the rdonly option will be set even if it was not specified because mount_webdav will not allow files to be opened with write access on servers which do not support the DAV LOCK method. This is not very clear to me, but I assume this to mean that mount_webdav will mount the WebDAV server in read-only mode if it does not support the DAV LOCK method. Am I wrong assuming this? Has anyone managed to make this work, or has any piece of advice?
