Hi again guys. Once again I'm doing something slightly off the beaten track... This time I'm trying to create an archive page without resorting to using an XQuery document. I'd like to pass a parameter to the XML document I'm viewing, have XSL pick up that parameter, and use it in a document() call back to exist to get the results. So, for example, I'd like to go to the following address: http://mysite.com/recent-info.xml?archive=200606 and then in my XSL do something like: <xsl:variable name="month" select="request:get-parameter('archive', concat(date:year(), date:month()))" /> <xsl:apply-templates select="document('//details.xml')/doc[@month=$month]" /> ... However, exist bombs out when I try to use request:get-parameter() from XSL. The error is as follows: Programmer's assertion in getNextStepPos: unknown stepType: -1 I'm currently using the 200512xx snapshot (can't remember the date exactly). Does anyone know how I could accomplish what I'm looking to do? |
