Hmm im not entirely sure, did you also remove the .log file from webapp/WEB-INF/data If not I would recommend doing that, then trying to start it, if that doesnt work, remove all .dbx and .log files from the directory mentioned above and try to start it. Sounds like you have a corrupt db or log... Which JDK are you using? I build this on 1.5, maybe I need to compile it for 1.4 for you (although I think it does this by default)...
