I have tested evms in the past and found it quite a
useful tool however since it does not support raid6 I
ended up having to go with mdadm to manage my 2TB raid
6 array.
I've added Raid6 support under EVMS patches on Sourceforge
(http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1429920&group_id=25076&atid=383344)
Its for release 2.5.3 since that is what I've been using for
a while. It should not be difficult to port this into 2.5.4
or the next release ( I just do not have the time currently
to test it all out under 2.5.4 or the current dev tree under
CVS). Additional details are provided in the patch summary.
