I will follow the instructions and use kgcc from the redhat 7.1 compat-egcs package instead. However one thing is unclear to me: will the floppy have a built in kernel? Will my linksys pcmcia card work? This card works with kernel 2.2.19. When I run this kernel and do an lsmod I get the list below, but the card does not run with kernel 2.4.x. AFAIK etherboot's floppy uses kernel 2.2.19 correct?
