Hello,

SourceForge has experienced a hardware problem with their Developer  
CVS machines, and CVS has been offline for a little over a day.   
Status is available at:

Hopefully they will get it back up today, since I know a number of us  
have changes to check in.

I ask that people please wait to check in to the 5.4 tree until I  
give the all clear.

This is because I have not been able to check in changes (I was  
working when it went down), and more importantly, I have not been  
able to tag CVS with 5.4.2 tags in preparation for release.  If  
changes get checked in right now, my tags would not be accurate.

It's still alright (and encouraged!) to send patches to this list,  
but please make them attachments, since many mail readers mangle  
text, making patches break.

That's it for now.  I'll be turning my attention to getting the booth  
ready for LinuxWorld soon. I think this is going to be a very good  
show for us.
