The X3100 10GbE Server/Storage Adapter is server I/O virtualization oriented and can be configured in four modes, 1. Single function, 2. Multi Function, 3. SRIOV, 4. MRIOV. Due to the relatively large register set and configuration, our driver is comparatively a bit bulky. However we have tried to make it as much as compact. This first patch includes a complete Register map details of the hardware. We would appreciate the community review and comments on this driver. Also congratulations to the community for a brilliant work. Please post patches to the list. They will be put into the staging repository for testing and review by a "sponsor", a gPXE developer helping the patch get into mainline. The staging wiki page has guidelines and git commands that produce a patch suitable for the mailing list: http://etherboot.org/wiki/staging#contributing_a_new_feature Marty can give you an idea of the 1.0.0 release cycle and whether it is still possible to merge this driver.
