[etch-users] couple of questions regarding etch

My organization is looking for an open source Configuration Management
product for a Linux

Platforms project (approximately 80 servers) and have started evaluating
several candidates, one

of which is Etch.  The existing documentation is quite comprehensive and
answers a lot of my

questions.  However, there are a few items I would appreciate your help
with:



1)    How widely distributed is this product and what is the current
activity (update frequency, number

of fixes per update)?



2)    What is the level of support  ?



3)    Has anyone taken this implementation and migrated it to an enterprise
version that can be

licensed for a fee?



4)    Are there any other software dependencies besides Ruby and Facter
Library?
