I would do it like this. Set your Apache server on port 80 and the edit the vhost.conf file to point to your yaws server <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName www.seconddomain.com ServerAlias seconddomain.com *seconddomain.com DocumentRoot /home/second/docroot </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName www.firstdomain.com ServerAlias firstdomain.com *.firstdomain.com DocumentRoot /var/yaws/yadayada ProxyPass / http://firstdomain.com:8000/ ProxyPassReverse / http://firstdomain.com:8000/ </VirtualHost> Then you can let your apache server do all the forwarding in an easy way. In this way you can run how many yaws server as you want. Just create a new vhost i the vhost file to the new yaws server.
