Hi all. While testing my old and new sample SOAP services I realized that in the past, the SOAP reply would have content-type of text/XML (I looked at 1.89) while the latest (1.92) has a content-type of application/XML. I'd probably wouldn't pay attention to this change unless my dummy C# client (generated by Visual Studio 2008 (I tried 2010 too with the same results)) crashed when encountered the application/xml content-type. What should be the content-type ? I don't know enough about SOAP - should I care whether the content-type is application/xml or text/xml ? In 1.92 yaws_rpc.erl (line 358) content_hdr(_, Payload) -> {content, "application/xml", Payload}. In 1.89 yaws_rpc.erl (line 286) content_hdr(_, Payload) -> {content, "text/xml", Payload}. Error from C# client : The content type application/xml of the response message does not match the content type of the binding (text/xml; charset=utf-8). Thank Amit |
