I've put off making this post for a couple of weeks, knowing what the response will be from many re: development on Windows ... I also did a lot of RTFM and Google searching and made a lot of attempts at using the 'script' which exists to try and install Yaws into CYGWIN etc ... I believe in this case the differences in file locations on the x64 version of Vista and the regular x86 version affect the scripting, and my Cygwin familiarity is stale, because I'm accustomed to Kubuntu Vm's ... We run AutoCAD stations and windows is ubiquitous here at work - and it won't change any time soon ... I'd like to transition our in house web server over to Erl/Yaws (which is my dev platform of choice at home), but I've been totally unsuccessful in getting a working Yaws to present ... I've got Erlang in binary form, and the drop-in cean package works fine, is there any hope for a yaws binary in the future? ... best personal regards, -[ grantmichaels ]- vice president of manufacturing angelina granite & marble, inc. 5923 21st st e bradenton, fl 34203 o: (941) 727-5800 f: (941) 727-5859 c: (941) 376-3319 e: gra...@ho... _________________________________________________________________ See how Windows Mobile brings your life together—at home, work, or on the go. http://clk.atdmt.com/MRT/go/msnnkwxp1020093182mrt/direct/01/ |
