An rpm -q enlightenment showed e 0.16.5-1 installed twice! so I removed with rpm --erase --allmatches enlightenment.0.16.5-1 and then rpm -q showed none installed. However, after re-installing (rpm -Uvh e...0.16.5-1 etc) same result. Very strange. I'll keep looking.
