I'm probably going to put something behind the E logo in the next day or two. It's still a work in progress. Optimally, I would've toyed with the style for a much longer time (and not on so little sleep), but people were complaining about cpu usage (it was eating a ton in Windows) and some other issues, so I just wen ahead and got started more publically. > the tables dont format consistantly betwen page s(the nav bar on the > left keeps chanign size - i managed to et this down pat so tabels > actually format the same bwteen ie, netscape and mozilla - and well > you did break that now). There's a good chance I'm nuking the sidebar and trying out something else anyway. I tossed that up there because it was easier to get it up there right now. > you honestly woudl have > been just better chanigng the paragraph macro and chanigng pngs->gifs > because now it does look like shit. (compare the page between netcsape > and mozilla) It's a work in progress, and I told you I was going to hack up what you did when I got involved with it. :P I just didn't plan to commit it so early on. And I have compared the page between netscape and mozilla -- both this past week's mozilla and Netscape 4.76 look identical for the homepage, and most of the pages.. only 1-2 look different (and I've mentioned, someone can supply me with a fix :P). > also the evas log has a white (welllight gray) becuase it > was designed for the original background. in netscape. mozilla will > blend. netscape blends to the png's background color. of course in > mozilla it blends badly with the bg of the evas logo being a different > colr to the rest of the page (this is a mozilla/netscape 6 rendering > bug) errr.. you need to fix the png's so their background colro is th > esame as the page - either that or go and turn it all into gif's and > uuse just plain on/off transparency and stick to a fixed backgroudn > colro that u can basically never change without redrawing ALL of the > images on the pages. Do you have a copy of the evas logo that isn't blended onto a background yet? Then whenever/if ever I change the background color, I can just clean it up. I have the "Enlightenment" file, but it's not in XCF, so I didn't think it was necessarily appropriate :) > rememebr the page as it was before at leats formated the same and > looked similkar enuf in browsers - now it starts looking completely > different. What's wrong with the formatting is temporary and not too terribly difficult to change. I agree that it probably should have some lighter colors, and I know there's some formatting problems in the left cell (I even say so in the commit message), but it'll all get fixed. term |
