>no - this is a gl driver bug i think - i can get the xserver to crash >with glx in the server (software mesa) too. Today I actually got it running without a hang, this means that my newest CVS-X build works fine with evas_test now, puuh, finally. Just one thing didn't work: the gradients-demo in evas_test didn't show up in hardware just in software. Maybe you don't render those stuff when it isn't supported by the driver, right? And I got an avg. of 106,4 FPS with evas_test in hardware- and 81,69 FPS in software-mode. In hardware-mode the FPS was between ~ 90 FPS - ~130 FPS. I hope this will be enough for E17. >that will run the old test in 1280x1204 in hardware mode - you'll see >the nvidia's strip the matrox framerates in that one. I believe you, no problem, but I have my version-dependencies and don't want to risc braking those dependencies. No one as for now could assure me that the nVidia stuff will work with all my kernels and CVS-X builds. Anyways you can always teach me better. Moreover my G400 is fast enough for all that stuff I guess as of what I heard and run till now. |
