Maybe one of the other folks here can help. Guys? > Moreover, it makes audacious bug out, becoming unminimizeable > and showing itself on all desktops. ?? Audacious works fine here. Well, as fine as Audacious ever works, anyway. Have you unchecked "View => Put on all Workspaces" in Audacious' menu? (I have the xmms-alike interface running, which may have some different options than the GTK+ interface.) I normally have Audacious in the SE corner of all my desktops, playing the local classical radio station (KQAC, allclassical.org -- great station). But I just tried unsetting that option, and Audacious obediently restricted itself to one desktop. > Apparently I can't have more than one copy of an IBox? At the bottom of the IBox Settings, you'll find "Show windows from all desktops" and "Show windows from active desktop". You want the latter. This way you can start a program on one desktop, iconify it, and it will show up in the IBox, but only when that particular desktop is active. You can have more than one IBox on a desktop. If you restrict one to display only what's on one desktop, you can have the other one show everything. I'm not sure of the utility of such a set-up, but you can do it. :-) --Dale -- Vir: "I thought the purpose of filing these reports was to provide accurate intelligence."
