So by default the python EFLs are installing themselves to /usr/share/pyshared That would be fine and good if Ubuntu's build of python 2.7 detected installed modules there. By default it doesn't though - import elementary fails. Things need to be installed into /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages for python 2.7 on 12.04 to use/see the modules properly.
