As long as virtuoso is not enabled it will not start when kmail is launched. Nepomuk is drawn in by kmail and should start fine (unless there is some other problem with the database engine). SN 0:00 /usr/bin/nepomukserver ================================================= As you can see kmail starts, brings in akonadi and that pulls in nepomuk. eI'm running kmail-1.13.7 with KDE-4.6.5. I have not selected any of the Settings/Apps/Desktop Environments in e17 and kmail does not crash when I start it up. The only time I recall it crashing on start up is when some earlier KDE4 update borked the way sqlite was called (I use sqlite instead of mysql). The second time I would try to launch kmail it would start without crashing. HTH with the OPs problem. -- Regards, Mick |
