Is there a problem with the 0.16.5 tarball? If so, I'd like to get that corrected. If it's related to newer auto* tools, though, I won't bother. > - Have taken out (using ifdef's) the old Gnome/KDE stuff. Are they actually known to conflict? I'd like to keep them in there if possible, because 0.16.x will still be the E of choice for most people for at least another 6 months to a year, I'd say. Wouldn't you agree, raster? And I believe backward compatibility would be useful to those running things like RHAS or Debian stable. > The patch also includes BAM<so...@gm...>'s fix to configure.in to > get auto* going. Just for the record, any patch which breaks compatibility with autoconf 2.13, automake 1.4, etc. will not be applied to CVS. So if I have to strip out that portion, I will. Again, it looks like raster and I are in agreement that this patch, along with changes currently in CVS, are worth another "point patch" release of E. So all end-user testing results, good and bad, are appreciated. Also, just as an FYI, I'm looking at an epplets release in the near future too; 0.5 is way too antiquated. And besides, it lacks the most important epplet of all: E-Pants. Michael -- Michael Jennings (a.k.a.
