Hi, I recently changed from an SBLive 5.1 to an Audigy Player. The first difference I noticed was that stereo PCM output was only being routed through the front speakers by audigy-script; emu-script used to route it to the rear speakers too, which I liked a lot. So I added this line to audigy-script: $DSPMGR -a "Pcm:$REAR" ...which worked nicely. However, playing multichannel sound is now a problem, since the front channels are mirrored through the rear speakers. How can I make it act like the SBLive used to (ie. only stereo output played through both front and rear, not multichannel sound)? I can't see how the routing can be set up this way, am I just missing something? I also notice that the centre speaker is far louder than the others with multichannel output. Any way of adjusting this? I'm using analog 5.1 speakers. Thanks, Joe |
