hi,

The watchdog implementation in my pci motion card requires that the host
write a value of 0x5A at a particular address every few millisecond so that
the wd timer does not timeout.  the question is, can the EMC be configured
to do that.  I am using the extstgmot.c and stg.c as the base for my driver
code in the src/drivers folder. I do not see any mention of updating the
watchdog timer in these files.  If emc cannot do that, then I can change the
circuit in fpga to reset the wd timer when the DACs are updated.  will that
be enough for making sure the system is alive?
