Hi Fred I think the only objectors might be Jon Elson.. The function calls are pretty much what I had in mind - The names are not that important as long as they convey some meaning. I'd have gone for emc_set... myself. Tried deleting one of the unused directories earlier without success - Does removal not require Admin privileges ? Once the basic config files are written, I *think* menuconfig and xconfig are automatically taken care of. This may take a while to do if you are wanting me to look into the possibilities.
