Viesturs, asking Yishin to give us a ballpark budget estimate was implied, but I offered a donation as a incentive to get other people to show a willingness for micro donation support -- and THANK YOU Viesturs for stepping up ;-) That being said $150 might be a full percent of what he would need. It might also be less that 0.1% of what he needs. Either way we already have a start, and we have let him know that people are willing to chip in a little here and there to make this happen. BTW, if no big money stands up and says "I'll show you the money," then maybe we could write a letter of support to kickstarter to see if they would accept managing this as a project with Yishin. . This is only one idea, but something like that would allow a much larger, general public audience, manage collecting and distributing the funds, etc. EBo -- |
