Owen, I have been on vacation and am just catching up with my email. I won't actually be back until after Labor Day (That's Sept 6 for those not from the colonies <g>). Set jog stop Should be the correct command, but I will check it when I get back. Regards, Eric I was playing around tonight with EMCrsh, simply typing commands into a telnet window and thinking about potential remote interfaces, when I came across an odd behavior. When I issue: SET JOG 0 10 the X axis begins moving at 10 ipm in the negative(?) direction. When I then issue: SET JOG_STOP 0 I don't get an immediate response. If I allow it to run into the limit switch I get SET JOG_STOP ACK but only once the switch is tripped. If I append a third arguement (increment, according to the docs), it is ignored. If I send SET ESTOP ON while the jog is happening, the machine continues moving. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug in EMCrsh? I'm running EMC 2.3.5 to drive a 4-axis machine configured solely with the stepconf wizard. I've only modified to the hal file to enable emcrsh. Any thoughts much appreciated, |
