The plan is that EJBCA will be compatible with JDK 1.3, the current CVS version however is not, simply due to the fact that we haven't focused on that yet for the 2.0 release (it is still in pre-stage, thought it is stabilizing pretty fast). The 1.4 dependencies are all in new code. Herrvendil, can you have a look into JDK 1.3 ? > I would like to start looking at the EJBCA code to implement some > custom integration code and I was wondering if you could give me > an overview of how your development environment is configured. It't pretty simple: -JDK 1.4 -Ant 1.4 No special configuration for any of those is needed. -JBoss 3.0.1 Configuration needed in JBoss for various things (most notably the Web GUI in CVS) should be described in doc/README. Apart from the web-gui (which can be left out using 'deploy nora'), no configuration of JBoss is needed. -Eclipse We use Eclipse (eclipse.org) as development environment, there are two files in the root, .classpath and .project which is for eclipse and makes it work as soon as EJBCA is checked out as a project in eclipse. NetBeans or emacs works fine as well offcourse... -OS We develop both on Windows 2K and Linux. Hope this was the information you're looking for. Regards, Tomas |
