EIGHT: Easy Image Gallery / News: Recent posts

This new version of EIGHT includes a simple search engine and gallery statistics. The simple search engine will allow you to search for images by image name, caption information or both. The statistics show total images in all galleries, total images per gallery, and latest update per gallery.

EIGHT v.0.08 coming soon. This next release will contain some feature requests. A basic search function will be included as well as data on total images, images per gallery, and newest additions. I'm hoping the release will be available by the end of the month.

A new version of EIGHT has been released. EIGHT now incorporates HTML templating using the HTML::Template perl module. EIGHT includes the module in it's package so that you do not have to bug your system admins to add the module.

There was also a minor bugfix involving the DISTRibuted guestbook and some other minor changes.
