Hi, I work at an American University located in Beijing, China, and we are looking at using eGroupWare for our faculty (perhaps for students too), but I'm having trouble installing it. Could someone help? When I access <http://junction.jingmei.org/egroupware> I am forwarded to <http://junction.jingmei.org/egroupware/setup/manageheader.php>, which tells me : " You have not created your header.inc.php yet! You can create it now. Please consult the phpGroupWare Administration Manual. Analysis No MySQL support found. Disabling No Postgres-DB support found. Disabling No Microsoft SQL Server support found. Disabling No Oracle-DB support found. Disabling Did not find any valid DB support! Try to configure your php to support one of the above mentioned DBMS, or install phpGroupWare by hand. " I did look in the documentation, but it wasn't obvious how I could solve my problem. I did install mySQL : [root@junction davidmaxwaterman]# rpm -qa | fgrep MySQL MySQL-devel-4.0.15-0 MySQL-client-4.0.15-0 MySQL-embedded-4.0.15-0 MySQL-shared-compat-4.0.15-0 MySQL-server-4.0.15-0 I thought it was asking for me to create the file 'header.inc.php', but the documentation seems to imply that the setup process will create that automatically (or help me create it with web forms etc). I see I have a few copies of it : [root@junction davidmaxwaterman]# find /var/www -name header.inc.php/var/www/html/egroupware/calendar/templates/default/header.inc.php /var/www/html/egroupware/filemanager/inc/header.inc.php /var/www/html/egroupware/polls/inc/header.inc.php So, perhaps it is complaining about the MySQL installation. I thought I had done everything necessary to make that work. Here is how I tried to add the MySQL user : " mysql> grant all on egroupware.* to apache@localhost identified by "10qpalzm"; Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.21 sec) mysql> exit Bye " Apache is the user that is running the web server : [davidmaxwaterman@junction davidmaxwaterman]# ps -fle | fgrep apache 5 S apache 2264 2241 0 76 0 - 4931 semtim Oct10 ? 00:00:01 /usr/sbin/httpd 5 S apache 2265 2241 0 76 0 - 4932 semtim Oct10 ? 00:00:01 /usr/sbin/httpd 5 S apache 2266 2241 0 76 0 - 4956 semtim Oct10 ? 00:00:01 /usr/sbin/httpd 5 S apache 2267 2241 0 75 0 - 4927 semtim Oct10 ? 00:00:01 /usr/sbin/httpd 5 S apache 2268 2241 0 76 0 - 4961 semtim Oct10 ? 00:00:01 /usr/sbin/httpd 5 S apache 2269 2241 0 75 0 - 4921 semtim Oct10 ? 00:00:00 /usr/sbin/httpd 5 S apache 2270 2241 0 76 0 - 4925 semtim Oct10 ? 00:00:02 /usr/sbin/httpd 5 S apache 2271 2241 0 75 0 - 4931 schedu Oct10 ? 00:00:01 /usr/sbin/httpd Any ideas?
