Ticket modified by da ku at 2011/03/29 06:38 Tracking System: Bugs Category: ImportExport Version: Trunk Status: Open Resolution: None Completed: 0% Priority: 5 - medium Created By: da ku Created on: 2011/03/17 09:08 Assigned to: Nathan Gray Summary: #2897 - problems with import/export contacs Hi I've some problems to export/import contacts using the import/export Manager First, i created a new user (group Default) who can use home, import/export and addressbook. Login as this user, create a new contact -> export (using the dropdown field on bottom of the addresbook), import (using the wizard) the contact, it: "0 Einträge ausgeführt". The csv-file -> testu1.csv What permissions needs this user to export the full contact? I logged in in my account (read access to the new users adressbook is available), export this entry (testu1_1.csv), import this csv with test checked, no entry but a new category -> "2422;n;test". Import the csv without test -> screen.png rgds Comment by da ku at 2011/03/29 06:38: Ok, thx. But now, withe the disk-symbol, there are other problems: -> Opera -> the file will saved as .html, Seamonkey, e.g. works select(checked) only one contact, clicked the disk-symbol, all contacts will exported IMO, in past, there was a field to the right of the radio-buttons (Use all, Use search results -> second tab) Comment by Nathan Gray at 2011/03/28 09:07: If you're using the dropdown below the address list, most likely your test user is trying to exceed the site's export limit. This option in the dropdown may be changed or removed in the near future, as the disk icon in the top right replaces it in a more consistent way across all apps. Comment by da ku at 2011/03/28 08:48: I've forgot, there is no entry in the logs (apache & php) during export Comment by da ku at 2011/03/28 08:43: Hi I've testet it today again, but with r34397. The import/export definitions are those from setup, i have not changed anything. testu1.csv is the exported file, logged in as a testuser, i don't know, which definition it's used, because there is no choice between the definitions (using the dropdown field on bottom of the addressbook). But "Export definitition to use for nextmatch export" is set to "Use default" -> "export-addressbook" So, the import problem is solved for me, used the wrong import definition, i've used outlook-german but it's adressbook-import. Hm, very strange. But the next problem, i can't export single contacts using the export-wizard, because there is no choice when i clicked "Use search results". (Opera & Seamonkey) Comment by Nathan Gray at 2011/03/22 09:33: This doesn't appear to be a permission problem, but you do appear to have several issues. 1. 0 records processed. If you didn't change the file at all between export and import, it's possible that the record was recognized as unchanged and simply skipped. It's also possible that there was an error that showed in your error log. I notice you used your own export definition (testu1.csv). Your import definition must match the export definition. 2. It looks like your import definition does not match your export definition. If you attach your import definitions, I can take a look for you. Please clearly indicate which definitions go with each CSV file. Definitions can be exported from the definition list by selecting them and clicking the disc icon. linked entries: http://www.egroupware.org/egroupware/index.php?menuaction=tracker.tracker_ui.edit&tr_id=2897&no_popup=1 |
