Ticket modified by Ralf Becker at 2010/11/15 09:55 Tracking System: Bugs Category: Calendar Version: Version 1.6 (unsupported) Status: Closed Resolution: Wont fix Completed: 0% Priority: 5 - medium Created By: Tino Marissen Assigned to: Ralf Becker Summary: #1911 - Recurring events will be offset in winter/summer time summer/winter time change We have the problem in calendar that when you setup a recurring event (recurring type day) which crosses the time change winter to summer time, the first event (and so all the others following) after the change date are offset one day into the future. When crossing the change from summer to winter time in october, the event is again in the richt place (perhaps offset one day into the past, or not even changed?!) So what happens? Best regards Tino Marissen Comment by Ralf Becker at 2010/11/15 09:55: That's one of the main features of the new 1.8.001 release. 1.6 is dead, please update. Ralf Comment by Jan Peter Stotz at 2010/11/15 09:47: >From my experience the appointment looks correct in the web GUI but the ICAL file contains the wrong starting time. Looks like this module doesn't takes the time zone (current and/or the one the appointment was created) into account. Example: In August someone creates an reoccurring appointment every week for 10:00. The web GUI shows this appointment correct on 10:00 for dates on CET and CEST. But if you load the ICAL file of the calender the starting time changes: 10:00 for dates on CEST and 9:00 for dates on CET.
