Summary: #1945 - Ability to change a project into a subproject of another project 
It would be nice if a toplevel project can be turned into a subproject. This is needed when an experimental project creates a new project line by creating promising results. Then one would make more projects which fall into a "bigger" project following the ideas of the experimental one on a broader level.
