I installed EFW2.2rc3 and I setup windows authentication on active directory (w2k3) using LDAP settings on endian. The authentication and HTTP proxy+content filtering works correctly. So, I decided to upgrade to 2.2 final. Surprise: the LDAP auth on windows works only for groups listed in "group policy" which have option enabled to "unrestricted"; if I change the option to "Default policy" the authentication does not work. So, if I leave the option for all groups to "unrestricted", I have authentication but I cannot have content filtering. I tried to change from LDAP Auth to Windows auth: I was able to join the domain and have groups permitted to surf but "group policy" didn't work, so I cannot have groups with unrestricted policy and groups with HTTP traffic filtered. The same problems I have with EFW2.2 fresh installation from .iso image so probably it is not an upgrade problem. Does anyone know what are the differences from these versions?
