If I am understanding this correctly. I do not think an index tab for topics is necessary because users could always go to the "Browse All" tab to see these topics and see modules with these topics. However making a tab with dates and times a module was updated I think is a good idea this should be discussed more.

There could be an index tab for all the topics and a recent changes tab for all the recent change made with date and time, the data was updated.
