In addition, the distribution you are using (SLC5) may renumber the interfaces if a new NIC is plugged into the system, especially since it sounds like your distribution is based on RHEL5. Be careful of this when using the mechanism Bruce calls out above to make sure you are disabling the stripping on the correct interface. Cheers, John |
