#220 typing quotes (',") takes forever in 0.3.12

When I use quotes in a pretty large module (> 2000
lines) it takes several seconds waiting for the editor
to highlight the text as literal1 and back.

This happens even when Smart Typing for quotes is on.

I wouldn't know :). 0.3.12 is the first version I've used.

Partially fixed in CVS.

The time for processing an open quote depends on the number
of following lines. Sadly, they all have to be reparsed to
maintain proper syntax highlighting and other information.

However, I improved the smart typing feature so that the
reparsing does not occur when it is enabled and the problem
can be avoided.
