I would really like to use DYN API for my site but I have to say the documentation leaves a lot to be desired. I first downloaded Version 2.9 only to find that none of the examples on the tutorials (http://dynapi.sourceforge.net/doccenter/index.php?DynAPITutorials) actually worked. So I changed over to version 2.5.6 but I am not having much more luck with it. All I want to do is set the border of a DynLayer to be one pixel wide and blue. I figured that the css property might be the answer but I can't seem to gain any access to it. The property is always set to null. Below is the code I am trying to use. Can any one tell me what on earth is wrong with it please. The Variable anImage is of a custom type I have created but that works fine as I have used it for ages. The alert give the value null, not undefined but null. Thanks, Bart. ___________________ ////////////////////////////// // Creating an image viewer // ////////////////////////////// function BBImageGalViewer(x, y, w, h, anIamge){ //initialising class variables this.dynlayer = DynLayer; this.dynlayer("test", x, y, w, h, "#ffffee"); this.image = anIamge; //a layer for the content this.theHTML = ""; this.theHTML += "<p align=\"center\"><img src=\"" + this.image.url + "\" alt=\"Testing\" /></p>"; this.theHTML += "<p align=\"center\">" + this.image.caption + "</p>"; this.setHTML(this.theHTML); //this.setBorder(1, "#8080ff"); alert(this.css); return this; } BBImageGalViewer.prototype=new DynLayer(); _________________________________ Mr. Bart Busschots, BSc, AMInstP, Department of Computer Science, NUI Maynooth.
