[no clues from dvdauthor-users, so taking the lib of resending here] I'm a newcomer here, so forgive me if this is a stupid question. I'm getting this error when trying to author directly from a DVD title stream created with tccat. i.e, I'm doing this: tccat -i /dev/dvd -T 1,-1 -P > title1.VOB and then running dvdauthor on title1.VOB. Should I be surprised at the failure...? If I use tcextract to get separate video audio streams, then mplex them back together, it works fine; is this necessary if I want to copy *everything* in the title stream? It seems madness to extract/de-mux everything, and then mux it all back together again. would appreciate any ideas... cheers, Calum. diz $ which dvdauthor /usr/local/src/dvdauthor/dvdauthor-859/src/dvdauthor diz $ dvdauthor -c "$chaps" --video=pal+16:9 -o dvdimage title1.VOB DVDAuthor::dvdauthor, version 0.6.9-859.
