Mike, I think a class is a good container for functions. It helps avoid name collisions, for one thing. It encourages putting related functions together, for another. I think they should be Delphi CLASS functions, though. Ditch the VAR declaration and don't have any class instance, local or global. Just invoke TAppNamer.PathToApp(), etc. My 2 zlotnys.
