  Try adding a line in the device section of XF86Config
that tells X how much RAM to steal for the i810 like this.

VideoRam	16384

This will probably correct the problem.

I recently upgraded my computer and now have one with an i810 chip in
board.  So, before throwing another card in it, I'd like to see if I can
get the i810 working and then compare to my Voodoo.

I'm running -test8 and have the agpgart module compiled (BTW, the agp->pci
fallback for the rage 128 isn't working any more) with support for the
i810.  The agpgart module loads with no problems, but the i810 module
seems to have problems.

The first time I run X, it starts up in 2D, but no 3D.  The log file shows
that it attempts to load the i810 kernel module but errors with:  "Cannot
allocate memory"

The next time I try to run X it won't even start the 2D server till I
unload the i810 module (which is now loaded) and the agpgart module.  It
errors out with:
