Greetings, This change to the update instructions worked, Thank You Peter!!! >> CVS Update intructions are incomplete/incorrect</b> >> I tried, but was unable to update my cvs sources with the cvs update >> command as found in the DRI Compilation Guide: >> This: >> cd /scratch/DRI-CVS >> cvs -z3 update -dA xc >> Yields this: >> cvs update: No CVSROOT specified! Please use the `-d' option >> cvs [update aborted]: or set the CVSROOT environment variable. >The guide is indeed wrong, do this instead : >cd /scratch/DRI-CVS/xc >cvs -z3 update -dA xc >can someone fix section 6.3 of the DRI compilation guide? That said, the substantive problem is still the compile. I updated CVS sources, re-ran the compile, and got the same error. Does anyone have any idea why this build fails on these modules? BTW, I was not very specific about my hardware. It shouldn't matter, but it is a dual celeron, BP-6, with a Matrox G400 Max board, 256MB, Buslogic BT568 & BT-568D SCSI, Soundblaster AWE 64, Netgear 10/100 card. Thanks again for your help.
