The author of the FreeBSD specific parts of the DRI mentioned it was known to be working in the HEAD branch around 2000/6/17 on the limited number of machines he has available for testing. You'll need a freebsd current snapshot from the end of June or later for the AGP support and some changes to the console code. I'm having difficulty getting a 16M G400 working on a motherboard and CPU similar to yours, but I haven't invested much time in it. I'm not sure how well the DRI will behave multiheaded. You may want to yank your millenium II.
