Hello, I have recently installed RedHat 7.1 (kernel 2.4.2-SMP, XFree86-4.0.3) on my dual processor machine (P-III) with 512MB and Voodoo5 5500 and it works nicely, except for the 3D graphics under X (XFree86-4.0.3). Whenever I try to run a GLX application, I get the following error message: gd error (glide): gd error (glide): grSstSelect: non-existent SSTgd error (glide): grSstSelect: non-existent SSTSegmentation fault and that include glxinfo and all the other GLX demos. I tried setting LIBGL_DEBUG="verbose" and then I get: libGL: trying /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri/tdfx_dri.so libGL: trying /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri/tdfx_dri.so gd error (glide): gd error (glide): grSstSelect: non-existent SSTgd error (glide): grSstSelect: non-existent SSTSegmentation fault I verified that the file /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri/tdfx_dri.so actually exists and (through RPM) is a part of the XFree86 4.0.3 distribution. Additional info: Mesa version: 3.4 Can you please tell me how to get glxinfo and the other apps to work? Thanks, Erez Hadad |
