You might want to experiment with taking /usr/X11R6/lib out of ld.so.conf. You could also have soft links in /usr/X11R6/lib for all the libs that are present in /usr/X11R6-DRI/lib. If you run strace /usr/X11R6-DRI/bin/xf86cfg, you should see the order in which it looks for the libraries and the names it looks for them as. That's really weird that it wouldn't use the order in ld.so.conf. You could try setting your LD_LIBRARY_PATH to something like /usr/X11R6-DRI/lib:/lib:/usr/lib too, just to see if that gets it to work... |
