I think I found the problem with my gamma correction routine. I was only
loading the values of the table that XFree told me too, instead of
loading all the values. This seems to fix it. If you compile the xgamma
application you can dynamically change the gamma of your server. It's
sort of cool when you want to play Q3A, you just crank it up to 1.7, and
everything looks much better. Then put it back to a more normal 1.0 when
you're done.
