Hello all, I'm not sure of whether I'm mailing this to the correct addresses or not, so bare with me.? I noticed that the file 'shared-core/drm_pciids.txt' contains 2 entries in the 'sis' group that actually have the same pci vender id as 'xgi'.? The only difference is that the id's are upper cased in the 'sis' group (0x18CA) & lower case in the 'xgi' group (0x18ca).? Since the cards in the 'sis' group that have this id are listed as Volari cards, I was wondering if the uppercase was intentional.? The uppercase causes the create_(os)_pci_list.sh script to choke & then skip the cards.? If this is the case & if drm currently can't handle these cards, then I understand.? Otherwise, I'm going to find a way to ensure that all of the id's are converted to lowercase before processing. Dee Sharpe |
