There's another effect, I noticed today: With Radon TCL the trees look quite the same as without TCL - much lighter than the Scenery with TCL, although both are built of textures (trees are built as textures on transparent, cubic surfaces). Maybe on the ground we see the flat shading shine through, that usually gets displayed when you disable textures (F9). The trees don't have underlying shading, Martin.
