The mach64 branch hasn't been following the trunk much closely (my idea is 
just propagate the bugfixes and improvements relevant to mach64). The 
libGL incompatibility is of great interest because by dropping libGL on 
the binary packages we also eliminate the problem that the bundled libGL 
tries to find the dri drivers in /usr/X11R6-DRI/... which is the way the 
branch is configured in CVS. I've applied Jens first patch, and was 
waiting for the remaining changes get stable in the trunk (and have some 
free time as well) before do the same in the mach64-0-0-3-branch.
