Direct rendering works again in my system, a mach64 card (I don't know how, the bug 4574 does not disturb me by now) Here is a problem I get with 20051105 snapshot, but not if I compile from CVS: In the game gl-117, I get big trianges in the borders of the screen. I could send if necessary a screenshot. If I set the environment variable MESA_DEBUG=verbose I get errors, but I also get errors when compiled from CVS. Right now, I don't have the Mesa errors from the CVS compiling of DRI, but I could post them if usefull to compare. If I rebuild the gl-117 rpm from the src.rmp, the game does not start (segmentation fault). These are the flags I use for rpm rebuilding: "-O2 -march=pentium3 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -fforce-addr -falign-functions -fprefetch-loop-arrays -ffast-math -mfpmath=sse -msse -mmmx". This is to Felix Kuehling: Thank you very much for trying to help with bug 4574, but right now I don't have the problem, so, I didn't report the ouput of dmesg and lsmod to avoid confusion. Anyway, if you thing it is usefull, I will report them even without the problem right now. Ignacio Vicario |
