All UT's OpenGL renderer doesn't delete any textures (it only gets rid of textures en bloc when you enter or restart a level) so I highly doubt that texture thrashing is UT's fault - especially as even the biggest levels (including lightmaps) fit easily on a 64MB card. Make sure to enable precaching (DoPreache IIRC) as this will precache all world textures (not lightmaps). So once you ran around in a level there shouldn't be any texture uploads except dynamic lighting and procedural textures for fire and water. > I'll say is I'm damned glad I'm working on the texturing code...
