Sure, celeron 400, 384meg ram, voodoo5500 agp. My setup ensures that I'm always CPU bound. There's too much RAM to swap, and the vid card is faster than I need. My FSB is bog-standard 66mhz. Your setup is an athlon-900 with voodoo3. You've enough RAM to avoid swapping. So my vid card is way faster than my CPU. Your CPU is much faster than your vid card. I wonder if this is relevant. What's your FSB? |
