 That is primarily what I'm interested in, though ... 2D performance is fine
but I have ocasional problems with 3D rendering that I am hoping may be fixed
in the CVS tree.

 Have there been any changes to the direct rendering management API (internal
interfaces that might not be that obvious, for example) ?
