Hi, I just upgraded to the 20021022 build of the Radeon driver on a Radeon 7000, and I noticed two rather major problems right away: 1. I no longer have my nice, big 1600x1200 virtual desktop. My workspace was painstakingly optimized for this size, and to be stuck at 1280x1024 is quite frustrating. Did the semantics of virtual desktops change? The log file says that the virtual desktop size is being set to 1600x1200 and then makes no other mention of it. 2. glDrawElements() no longer works correctly when being recorded into a display list. Specifically, if I'm building a display list with multiple calls to glDrawElements(), only the first one actually gets rendered. (glArrayElement continues to work correctly, however, as does glDrawElements() if I'm not drawing into a display list.) This is whether or not I'm using glLockArraysEXT. Additionally, a GL_INVALID_OPERATION error is raised on all but the first glDrawElements(). The second one isn't too critical, but the first one is extremely frustrating. Is there any known reason why my virtual desktop is no longer functioning, and is there a workaround? I consulted the dri-users and dri-devel archives but found nothing. My XF86Config-4 and XFree86.0.log are attached. Also, are there any plans to add DPMS functionality for LCDs and DFPs in the Radeon driver? I saw a patch for adding it for LCDs a while ago and tried to tweak it to work with DFPs, but without the register specification I couldn't get anything to work. Thanks in advance. -- http://trikuare.cx |
